Contact!
This page I spent very little time on cause truly, I
doubt anyone will be using it. I'm not notable enough to
have people want to contact me. One notable thing on
this page though is the sign up form to my newsletter.
It sends the responses to a site called forminnit which
then adds the responses to a list and emails me. I
thought that was pretty cool.
The other stuff
And now for all the other cool things on the site. Have
a look at the navbar! That shows up on every page thanks
to Astro! It's just a bunch of hyperlinks but without it
the site is pretty much useless. Notice how the contact
button looks different? That happens to the page your on
currently. It's a small change but I think it makes the
site feel completely different. It adds a responsive
feeling to the whole page I feel.
More nicheness
Look at the background, quite slick wouldn't you say? It
also took me like 2 minutes to implement and adjust to
my liking but it makes a huge difference to the site. It
removes the nothingness from the empty space and adds
texture. Infact I would say it helps people focus on the
text.
